Don't trust Mumbai police, take me to Delhi Chhota Rajan says
Mumbai, Nov 3: A team of the CBI which is all set to bring Chhota Rajan back, but confusion still prevails over whether he would be taken to New Delhi or Mumbai where a majority of the cases against him have been registered.
Rajan who was questioned by the CBI team in Indonesia where he was arrested has said that he does not trust the Mumbai police.

I have been treated very shabbily by the Mumbai police who have links with the underworld Rajan told the CBI team and also reporters in Bali.
The CBI team is in constant touch with the Home Ministry and is deciding on whether to take him to Delhi or Mumbai.
The Delhi police have six cases registered against Rajan and hence can make a claim for his custody. However, the Mumbai police say that the bulk of the cases against Rajan are in Mumbai and hence it is only fair to seek his custody.
Who will get Rajan?
Where Rajan is concerned there is a great amount of distrust between the Mumbai and Delhi police. Delhi has been quick to accuse the Mumbai police regarding a failed operating to nab Dawood.
A senior Intelligence Bureau official had hatched a plan to kill Dawood with the help of two Chhota Rajan aides. However, before the mission could be operationalised, the Mumbai police arrested the two hench men- Vicky Malhotra and Farad Tanesha.
Sources in Delhi say that they are extremely skeptical about sending Rajan to Mumbai as they cannot trust the security over there. Moreover Rajan too has expressed apprehensions over being sent to Mumbai.
Although Rajan does not have a choice in these matters, Delhi may still consider his plea considering the security aspect. It would be extremely embarrassing for Delhi if Rajan's security is compromised in Mumbai.
Moreover, Rajan also told the CBI team in Bali that he had been tortured by some officials of the Mumbai police.
He however, added that the final call should be taken by the Indian government, but he would prefer to be in Delhi.
Sources in the security establishment say that if one goes by the rules, then Rajan should be taken to Mumbai.
However, if there is a security risk, then it is the government which will take the final call. Officials say that if needed the Mumbai police can question Rajan in Delhi and build up their case.
