Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal fails to get an appointment with PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi, June 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is too busy to take out time to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP said on Tuesday, June 30.

Accoding to NDTV report, Kejriwal's adviser Nagendra Sharma was quoted saying as, "We have been asking for time for 10 days, we were informed that PM was occupied with other national responsibilities."

Delhi Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said PMO office told them to either meet Finance Minister Arun Jaitley or Home Minister Rajnath Singh, in case, if anything urgent needs to be discussed.

Ten days before, Kejriwal had written to the PM to seek an appointment regarding the issue with the Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.

An AAP leader even said, "PM has time for everything else, for clicking selfies and he has no time for the chief minister of Delhi."

Failed to get an appointment with Modi, Kejriwal finally met and discussed the matter with the Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

In a setback to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his government, Delhi High Court on Monday refused to restrain LG-appointee Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief M K Meena from entering his office, while asking him to act in "accordance with law".
