CUET UG 2024 Results Expected Today: Get Ready To Check Your Scores And See Steps To Access Them

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is to announce the results of the Common University Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 today. Candidates can view their results on the official CUET UG website by entering their login details. The final answer key for the exam was released on July 25 and will be used to prepare NTA scores for CUET (UG) 2024.

The CUET UG exam encompassed 61 subjects, including 33 languages, 27 domain subjects, and a general test. Each candidate could attempt up to six test papers, comprising four or five domain subjects along with a general test and one or two language papers. Correct answers earned five marks each, while incorrect answers resulted in a one-mark deduction. Unanswered questions were scored as zero.

CUET UG Exam Format

This year's CUET UG was conducted in a hybrid mode, combining computer-based testing (CBT) and pen-and-paper formats. The exams took place on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 across 379 cities, including 26 international locations. For some subjects, exams were held in pen-and-paper format while others were tested via CBT.

Initially scheduled for release on June 30, the CUET results were delayed due to allegations of paper leaks related to NEET-UG, UGC-NET, and CSIR-UGC-NET. Consequently, the NTA postponed the announcement to ensure accurate results.

Answer Key And Retest Details

The provisional answer key was made available on July 6. Following this release, some students raised objections which led to a retest for approximately 1,000 candidates on July 19. A revised provisional answer key was subsequently issued on July 22.

For OMR-based exams, the answer keys are provided in a PDF file of 219 pages. In contrast, CBT exam keys are available in a PDF file of 151 pages. These answer keys are crucial for calculating the final scores.

This year saw over 13.4 lakh registrations for the CUET UG exam. Approximately 13 lakh candidates participated in this session aiming for admission into undergraduate courses across 261 central, state, deemed, and private universities.

The hybrid format of the CUET-UG exam faced logistical issues leading to its cancellation in Delhi just before it was scheduled. However, it was later successfully conducted in the national capital.

The results will be accessible online where candidates need to enter their login credentials to check their scores. This process ensures that only authorised individuals can view their results securely.
