The unfortunate event took place around 3 pm when Yash, a three-year-old from Madheya locality in Mursan, was reportedly hit by a vehicle. He was initially taken to the district hospital and later transferred to a higher medical facility in Aligarh, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Protests and Police Response

Upon hearing of the child's demise, enraged residents began protesting and obstructed the Mathura-Bareilly road near the Mursan police station. As evening approached, more individuals joined the protest, with some allegedly collecting stones from a nearby railway track to hurl at the police station.

In response to the escalating situation, law enforcement deployed heavy forces from multiple police stations to restore order. Officials confirmed that the situation was eventually brought under control after some time.

Arrests and Demands

Superintendent of Police Chiranjeev Nath Sinha stated that following the accident, both the car driver and conductor were promptly apprehended, and their vehicle was seized. However, protesters demanded that those responsible be handed over to them.

Regarding the stone-pelting incident, three individuals have been identified and arrested. The Superintendent of Police assured that the situation is now stable.
