Chhattisgarh: Class 10 Student Commits Suicide In School Washroom

A tragic incident unfolded in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, where a Class 10 student allegedly took her own life in a school washroom. The student was enrolled at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kothipura. Police reported the discovery on Sunday.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shiv Chaudhary stated that the girl was rushed to AIIMS Bilaspur. Unfortunately, doctors declared her dead upon arrival. A post-mortem examination was conducted at the same hospital.

Reports indicate that the student used her dupatta to create a noose and hanged herself from the bathroom ventilator. Her lifeless body was found on Sunday morning, adding to the tragedy of the event.
