When #SaluteSelfie brought serious trouble for Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and actress Aditi Rao
Mumbai, Aug 18: Days after posting their #SaluteSelfies, Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari landed in trouble. The Bollywood actor and actress faced criticism for saluting with their left hands.
Both Shahid and Aditi posted their #SaluteSelfie on Independence Day when it was trending on top on micro-blogging site Twitter on Aug 15.

#SaluteSelfie was an initiative by Reliance Group to pay tribute to Indian Army on Independence Day. More than 10,000 #SaluteSelfies were posted on social networking sites.
This was an initiative to make Indian Army and other forces feel special and important. Independence Day is one of the ideal times to let the jawans know that they matter.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Sonaksi Sinha, Team India (ODI) captain MS Dhoni were among those celebrities who too posted their #SaluteSelfies.
While posting his selfie, Shahid wrote, "#SaluteSelfie acknowledging the selfless, brave heroes #IndianArmy."
The actress also tweeted her #SaluteSelfie and wrote, "Thank you for every single day that you selflessly risk your life for our peace and happiness #SaluteSelfie."
However, their selfies did not go well with their critics as many slammed the stars for saluting with their left hands.
