BMW Car Used To Dispose Of Former Model Divya Pahuja’s Body Located In Punjab

Punjab Police on Thursday recovered the blue BMW which was used to move the body of former model Divya Pahuja after her fatal shooting in Gurugram hotel. The vehicle was located at a bus stand in Punjab's Patiala city. The vehicle was locked, with police yet to confirm if Divya's body is inside its trunk. Initial suspicions by cops pointed to the possibility of Divya's body being dumped in a river in Punjab.

The main accused, Abhijeet, along with associates Balraj and Ravi, fled on January 2 in the same vehicle, allegedly with Divya's body in the trunk.

Vijya Pratap Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram Police, said that the BMW was traced to a bus station in Patiala. Alongside this discovery, two phones were recovered-one belonging to Divya and the other to the prime suspect, Abhijeet Singh.

However, Divya's sister claimed that she possessed an additional phone, prompting a search by the police for that device.

The alleged murder of Divya Pahuja occurred on January 2 at Gurugram's City Point Hotel, owned by Abhijeet. Subsequently, Abhijeet, along with Prakash and Indraj, were arrested by the Gurugram Crime Branch in connection to Divya's tragic demise. Notably, both Prakash and Indraj were former employees at Abhijeet's hotel.

CCTV footage captured the suspects, including Abhijeet, fleeing the scene in a blue BMW, purportedly transporting Divya's body in the car's trunk.
