Blast Reported Near Israel Embassy, Staff Unharmed, Probe Underway
On Tuesday, the Delhi police received a phone call alleging a blast near the Israel Embassy. However, upon investigation, authorities have not discovered any explosives in the area thus far. Atul Garg, the director of Delhi Fire Services, informed the news agency ANI that they received a call reporting a bomb blast near the Embassy. He further stated, "So far, nothing has been found at the location."
Following the reports, the authorities started to conduct searches in the area.

According to the news agency Reuters, Israel's foreign ministry reported an explosion heard near the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi. Fortunately, all of its staff members are unharmed.
"We can confirm that around 5:20 there was a blast at proximity to the embassy," Israeli Embassy spokesperson Guy Nir said.
Israel Embassy's Deputy Chief of Mission Ohad Nakash Kaynar said: "This evening several minutes after 5, an explosion occurred nearby of the Embassy. All our diplomats and workers are safe. Our security teams are working in full cooperation with local Delhi security and they will investigate the matter further". Speaking to the media, an eyewitness said that the blast sounded like a tyre burst.
"This happened around 5 pm, I was on duty and heard a huge sound. When I came out, I saw smoke coming from the top of a tree, that's all I saw...The police have taken my statement," he said.
The reports of a blast near the embassy come amid an ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, resulting in a significant loss of life, the war was initiated by a Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, claiming the lives of over 1200 individuals, predominantly civilians.
