BJP to apprise people about government schemes
New Delhi, March 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday decided to propagate about its government schemes among the masses so that the general public understands what the Narendra Modi government is doing for it.
The decision was taken during a BJP parliamentary party meet held in the morning with agenda to make public aware about the government schemes.
Praising his party's third union budget 2016-17 as pro-public, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told media here that it is important to tell the public about the schemes meant for them.
"It was a detailed budget this year and we have to initiate a mass movement at war footing level to reach people and make them aware about government schemes."
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and union Minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Venkaiah Naidu were key speakers during the meet, Naqvi said.
