Bihar Tragedy: Class 10 Student Dies After Monkeys Push Her Off Roof
A tragic incident in Bihar's Siwan district has left a Class 10 student dead after she was pushed off a roof by a troop of monkeys. The unfortunate event has raised concerns about the growing menace of monkeys in urban and rural areas, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Monkeys Push Bihar Student: The Shocking Incident
Priya Kumar, a Class 10 student, was studying on the roof of her house when a group of monkeys attacked her. According to reports, Priya was studying in peace when the monkeys suddenly appeared on the roof. Frightened, she tried to escape but found herself cornered by the aggressive animals.
Victim's Attempt to Escape
As the monkeys approached her, Priya was unable to flee. Villagers who witnessed the event advised her to run toward the stairs, but it was too late. One of the monkeys aggressively pushed her, and she fell from the roof, as reported by Hindustan Times.
Monkeys Push Bihar Student: Fatal Injuries
The fall resulted in severe trauma to Priya's head and other parts of her body. Despite being rushed to Siwan Sadar Hospital by her family, doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
Family's Refusal for Post-Mortem
The victim's family, devastated by the loss, chose to forgo the post-mortem examination, according to local police reports. This is a common practice in some regions, where families prefer not to have an autopsy performed.
Rising Monkey Menace in India
This tragic incident is not isolated. Over the past year, there have been several reports of monkey attacks in various parts of India. In one such incident, a railway staff member and a child were injured in a similar attack in Mumbai. Monkeys often cause disruptions and injuries, particularly in urban and temple areas, as per media reports.
