Bihar Polls 2025: RJD's Tejaswhi Yadav To Meet Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge; Seat-Sharing On Cards

Opposition in Bihar has pulled up socks for upcoming assembly election 2025. As per sources, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswhi Yadav is slated to meet Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on April 15 and it is expected that a seat sharing deal might be locked. Though, Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 are still 6 to 8 month away, but RJD and Congress have started preparations.

RJD MP Manoj Jha confirmed Tejaswhi Yadav and Malliakarjun Kharge's meeting will be held at Congress president's Delhi residence, adding "This meeting has been scheduled keeping in view the entire context of Bihar."

"This is a formal meeting. If we look at the allies of the Congress party, RJD has been the oldest ally as of now. In this formal meeting, the entire scenario will be discussed," RJD MP said.

On April 20, the Congress president will hold a public rally to woo voters in Bihar's Buxar. It is expected that RJD leaders will also accompany Congress chief on stage, to showcase INDIA bloc's unity and strength.

This time, the grand old party has given responsibility to young gun Kanhaiya Kumar, who has been raising issue of migration, unemployment with his 'Naukri do' rally. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had also participated in the rally to boost confidence in Congress workers.

On the other side, CM Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) has announced to stay in NDA and contest upcoming polls with Bharatiya Janata Party against Congress, RJD and left parties.
