Bhopal: Five killed as boat capsizes in lake
Bhopal, Mar 21: At least five people were killed after a boat capsized into a lake Madhya Pradesh's capital on Sunday, media reported.
The mishap took place on Chhota Talaab or lower lake between 9 pm and 9.30 pm when a group of boys went for a boat ride. It is pertinent to note that boat ride is not allowed in the lake after 6 pm.
According to reports, all victims aged 17-20. There were nine people in the boat at the time of tragedy.
The report also claimed victims were parting in the boat near Kamlapati ghat and all of a sudden the boat over turned.
Police reached the spot after they got to know about this incident.
