Bengaluru Water Crisis: PM Modi Slams Karnataka Congress, Says Mismanagement Turned Tech City To Tanker City
Bengaluru Water Crisis: Addressing a sea of supporters in Bengaluru today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the state Congress over mismanagement during the Bengaluru water crisis. Trying to woo the voters to elect the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, PM Modi said providing water enough drinking water was the state government's duty and they have failed miserably.
Prime Minister Modi further said that Karnataka's Congress government failed to fulfill people's basic needs and turned the tech city into a tanker city. The PM also alleged that the state government intentionally left the city in the hands of tanker mafia.

"The Congress is anti-private sector, anti-tax payer, and anti-wealth creator... the (Opposition bloc) INDIA's focus is on Modi, but my focus is on India's development, its global image," PM said.
"In these elections, the leaders of the INDIA alliance are roaming around with a worn-out tape recorder. Meanwhile, Modi and his partners are walking around with their track record, and that's why we have come here in Bengaluru to seek your blessings," he added.
BJP has repeated sitting MPs Tejasvi Surya and PC Mohan from Bangalore South and Central, while Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje is contesting Lok Sabha elections 2024 from Bangalore North constituency.
