Amit Shah's Lucknow trip cancelled due to Delhi polls

Lucknow, Feb 2: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's visit to the Uttar Pradesh capital Monday was cancelled at the eleventh hour, leaders said.

State BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said the tour programme of Shah had been called off.

He attributed the visit cancellation to the assembly polls in Delhi, and said that other leaders would now hold the review meeting of the membership drive in the state.
