Already conceded defeat in Delhi? Cong to hold only 4 rallies, 1 by Sonia and 3 by Rahul Gandhi
At a time when BJP and Aam Aadmi Party are putting all their efforts to win Delhi assembly elections, the third stakeholder Congress seems not to be in mood to put a brave fight against competitors.
Reportedly, the dynasty party has decided to limit the number of rallies by Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi will do only single rally in national capital while Gandhi scion Rahul Gandhi will hold three, including two rallies and one road show.

It is understandable that Sonia is doing less number of rallies because of her illness, but why Rahul Gandhi is so lethargic in his approach. Sources say other big faces of Congress including AICC general secretary and campaign committee chairman Ajay Maken, PCC chief Arvinder Singh Lovely and former Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit will have to shoulder the responsibility of campaigning in the Delhi polls.
Apparently party has already sniffed the imminent defeat in the poll and because of this reason party doesn't want to put big leaders' prestige at risk. Moreover, party knows that BJP and AAP have already turned the game in their favour and dynasty party only has to satisfy themselves with third position.
Already battered by Modi-led BJP in series of elections recently, starting from Lok Sabha to Assembly polls in many states, Congress party presently is in very bad shape. Experts say that the party seriously needs a makeover. They believe that the party is going through one of the toughest phase in the history of any party and needs radical change at every level so that party could make a roaring comeback in next polls. In 2015 one of the important State like Bihar will be polled and Congress will get tough competition not only from re-surging BJP but newly formed Janata pariwar also. But it seems party itself doesn't want to reinvent itself.
