AIADMK organises Sri Durga Homam` for welfare of Jayalalithaa

,Sep 22: AIADMK today organised a four-hour long Sri Durga Homam propitiating Goddess Durga for the welfare of party supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

All five party legislators, led by local committee Secretary P Purushothaman, MLA. offered prayers at the performance of the ritual by a 51 member team of vedic pandits at a Vedha Patasala at nearby Karuvadikuppam near here.

The other legislators who invoked the blessings of Goddess Durga were A Anbalagan, A Baskar, Om Sakthi Segar and L Periyasamy.
