Actress Ramya is missing from constituency, Congress complains to Sonia


Bengaluru (Mandya), July 21: Several members of the Karnataka Congress have complained to Sonia Gandhi against Kannada actress turned politician Ramya.

In the complaint it has been alleged that she is never at her constituency. The complaint states that she has been missing from her Constituency (Mandya) for several months now and hence action be initiated against her.


In a strongly worded complaint several members of the Congress have said that Ramya does not care for the people of her constituency and hence she should not be allowed to continue in politics.

Do not let Ramya contest elections:

The complaint which has been sent to the Congress supremo, Sonia Gandhi states that Ramya should not be allowed to continue in politics as a result of her attitude. It also states that the Congress should not give her a ticket to contest the elections.

There have been many complaints against her from the people of Mandya which is her constituency. She was missing when the farmer suicide issue was raked up. Many had complained that when the farmers were committing suicide she was never there.

The complaint which has been sent to Congress vice president, Rahul Gandhi also it is stated that she is not a friend of the common man. The same common man had voted for her, but she was never present when they had a host of complaints and grievances.

A leader ought to be with her people at the time of need, but Ramya has been missing from her constituency as a result of which action needs to be initiated and she should not be allowed to contest the elections on a Congress ticket the complaint also states.
