75 Years of Constitution: PM Narendra Modi Says Constitution Is Fully Implemented Now In Jammu And Kashmir

Reflecting on progress since independence, Modi noted that access to tap water was limited to only 3 crore homes even after 75 years. He highlighted that images of Lord Ram and Mother Sita in the original constitution symbolize Indian culture and remind us of human values, which guide India's current policies and decisions.

Modi mentioned improvements in services for senior citizens. In the past, they had to visit banks to prove they were alive. Now, they benefit from digital life certificates, showcasing advancements in technology and convenience for older adults.

"This is the 75th year of the Indian Constitution - it is a matter of immense pride for the country. I bow to the Constitution and all the members of the Constituent Assembly. We cannot forget that today is also the anniversary of the terror attack in Mumbai. Those who lost their lives, I pay my homage to them. I also want to reiterate the resolution of the country - all those terrorist organisations challenging the security of India will get befitting reply," said Modi during his address.

The Prime Minister's speech underscored significant achievements while acknowledging challenges faced by India. His remarks highlighted both historical context and contemporary issues, reinforcing a commitment to national security and cultural heritage.
