2-year-old girl raped in Delhi: Parents break silence, recall the horrible moments
New Delhi, Oct 18: A 2-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped. The incident, which took place in Delhi, created a new political storm.
Now, the parents of the victim broke their silence. They recalled the horrible moments when their child was kidnapped.

Father of the child was quoted as saying, "When I saw the condition my daughter was in, I wanted to scream. She was brought home... she said there were two 'bhaiyas'."
He also chided that police should hand the culprits over to him, so that he can teach them a "lesson of life".

Grandmother of the child was quoted as saying that her granddaughter was playing with her outside their house. The child was excited about Ramleela play which was held in a nearby school.
Then the girl along with other kids ran towards the school where a popular Hindi song was played. However, lights in the school ground went out.
Parents of the child started looking for her. Recalling the horrible moment, father of the child was quoted as saying, "We kept looking for her... the police helped us a lot."
"At about 12.30 am, one of our neighbours came running, and told us that he had seen my daughter wedged between two men on a bike, but we could not find them. My brother and a neighbour found her at about 2 am," he added.
Delhi Police assured the parents of the victim that they would identify and arrest the culprits soon.
Senior police officer was quoted as saying, "We cannot give a fixed time-frame for solving the case. But we will try our best and make some arrests soon."
