Telangana: See Railway Restoration Work Pictures After Devastating Hyderabad Rains; Trains To Resume Soon
Telangana Minister G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday shared pictures of Indian Railways speedy restoration work on the micro-blogging site X, formerly known as Twitter. Minister tagged and lauded Southern Railways in his post as they are making their best effort to restore train services in the state after devastating Hyderabad rains.
"Restoration works are in full swing by @SCRailwayIndia at various places where breaches occurred due to the heavy rains. The speedy restoration work on the Grand Trunk route, which connects the North and South of Telangana, will soon be completed, allowing train services to resume," G Kishan Reddy said.

The South Central Railway (SCR) is working tirelessly to restore train operations after heavy rains damaged tracks. Restoration are ongoing around the clock to ensure normalcy as soon as possible.
SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain inspected the Intakanne - Kesamudram section of the Secunderabad division. He reviewed the progress of track restoration work and discussed plans for further repairs in the affected areas.
Progress in Track Restoration
At kilometre 418, damage occurred at five locations. Four of these spots have been addressed, and work is progressing swiftly. Similarly, at kilometre 432, four spots were damaged; three have been attended to, and the last spot is under fast progress.
"The restoration works have been undertaken on a war footing basis and the work is being carried out round the clock to restore normalcy in train operations at the earliest," said SCR officials.
Arun Kumar Jain instructed divisional officials to expedite the track restoration process. The goal is to resume train services as soon as possible.
The railway track between Intakanne and Kesamudram was severely damaged due to torrential rains and overflowing floodwaters. This has caused significant disruptions in train operations.
Efforts are being made to complete the restoration quickly. The focus remains on ensuring safety and efficiency in resuming train services for passengers.
The SCR's commitment to restoring normalcy highlights their dedication to maintaining smooth train operations despite natural challenges.
With continuous efforts, it is expected that train services will soon return to their regular schedule, providing relief to commuters affected by the disruptions.
