137 Government Plots Near Hyderabad to Be Auctioned on Feb 7–8: Check How to Apply

The Telangana government is set to auction a total of 137 open residential plots located near Hyderabad on February 7 and 8.

The auction will be conducted by the Telangana Rajiv Swagruha Corporation Limited (TGRSCL) and will include land parcels in Torrur, Bahadurpally and Kurmalguda, offering buyers an opportunity to purchase government-owned, clear-title plots in key growth corridors.

Auction Schedule and Locations

According to TGRSCL, the auction for plots in Torrur will take place on both February 7 and February 8. Plots located in Bahadurpally and Kurmalguda will be auctioned on February 8 only.

The Torrur layout offers plots ranging from 200 to 500 square yards. In Bahadurpally, the available plots are larger, with sizes ranging from 200 to 1,000 square yards. Kurmalguda will feature comparatively smaller plots measuring between 200 and 300 square yards.

Plot Sizes and Earnest Money Deposit

For participation in the auction, bidders are required to pay an earnest money deposit of Rs 2,00,000 per plot. The EMD amount is applicable uniformly for plots in Torrur, Bahadurpally and Kurmalguda. The deposit is refundable and is intended to confirm the bidder's genuine intent to purchase.

TGRSCL stated in its press release that all the plots being auctioned are open government lands.

Clear Titles and Strategic Connectivity

As per information available on the official TGRSCL website, the plots are 100 per cent encumbrance-free and carry a clear title vested with the government corporation.

In terms of location advantages, Torrur is situated close to the Outer Ring Road and the Adibatla IT corridor. Bahadurpally lies adjacent to the Outer Ring Road, making it attractive for residential and investment purposes. Kurmalguda benefits from proximity to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Research Centre Imarat and the Outer Ring Road.

How and Where to Participate

Interested bidders can pay the earnest money deposit through Mee Seva centres or by demand draft drawn in favour of the Managing Director, TGRSCL, payable at Hyderabad.

Participants must carry the Mee Seva receipt or demand draft to the auction venue on the day of bidding. The auction will be held at Avika Convention, located beside Tara Convention, near ORR Exit Number 11 at Padda Amberpet.
