Did Mia Khalifa Sent Birthday Wishes To Rape Convict Prajwal Revanna? Here's The Truth

Social media in Karnataka is abuzz with the speculations of former adult actress Mia Khalifa sending wishes to former JDS MP Prajwal Revanna who was recently convicted by a Bengaluru court in a rape case.

On August 2, Prajwal Revanna was sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court in Bengaluru after he was found guilty of raping a 47-year-old domestic worker. The case marks the first conviction in a series of four sexual assault and harassment cases filed against the grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

He turned 35, three days after his conviction on August 5. However, a social media attributed to Mia Khalifa is doing rounds where in it is claimed that she wished the former Hassan MP.

A post on Instagram post claims Mia Khalifa as saying: "Happy birthday my lovely Karnataka hot sexy boy."

A thorough review of Mia Khalifa's verified social media accounts, including Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), found no such post. Additionally, no credible news reports or official statements corroborate the claim. A keyword search on Google also yielded no legitimate sources linking Khalifa to Revanna.

Given the absence of any genuine post, it is evident that the viral message is fabricated, likely created to generate sensationalism around the convicted politician's case.

Prajwal Revanna's Conviction

The former Hassan MP was found guilty on August 2 in the first of four pending sexual assault cases against him. The victim, a 47-year-old domestic worker, was assaulted twice in 2021-once at Revanna's farmhouse in Hassan and again at his Bengaluru residence. The trial, conducted under fast-track proceedings as per Supreme Court directives, concluded within a year of the FIR being filed.

Revanna, now prisoner #15528 at Bengaluru Central Prison, faces further trials in three additional rape and harassment cases.
