According to the Tamil actor, over 30 people were stuck in the villa in Karapakkam. He also thanked the firemen for coming to their rescue.
Aamir Khan's humble nature has been appreciated by a DMK leader Dr TRB Rajaa. "Thanks for the appreciation @TheVishnuVishal and please do thank the gentleman next to you for being such a class human being ! Astounding that he didn't try to pull any strings to be rescued ! Awesome to see him being so grounded and WAITING HIS TURN to be rescued just like any of our fellow citizens. Lessons for those who try to pull strings and drop names ! Hats off to people like Thiru Khan for being sensitive to the scale of the issue at hand and patiently await their turn 🙏🏾We will continue to stick to our Rescue Schedule."
Thanking the DMK leader, Vishu said, "Thanks a lot for helping us sir...And also providing support to a lot of people in karapakkam. Aamir Khan sir was blown away by everyone's effort."

The city and adjoining districts faced relentless rains on Monday as Michaung loomed over the north coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
However, Michaung crossed near coastal south Andhra Pradesh's Bapatla district with maximum gales of up to 90 to 100 km per hour, an Amaravati Meteorological Centre official said, adding that the weather system was to move northwards and weaken into a cyclonic storm in the two hours after landfall.
