If we go by the latest reports, Pavithra Gowda had questioned Darshan's stardom. This angered Darshan who directed his aides to kidnap Renuka Swamy for allegedly sending obscene messages.

"You claim to be a star and did nothing to the man who sent me obscene message? What have you done about it?," she asked Darshan, according to a report.

Renuka Swamy had sent abusive messages to Pavithra Gowda. He had sent numerous messages. Once he was blocked, he sent a nude picture of his private part.

Hurt by her critical words, Darshan decided to teach Renuka Swamy a strong lesson. What followed next is something nobody including Pavitha might not have expected.

A plot was devised, culminating in Renuka Swamy's abduction from his hometown of Chitradurga by Darshan's associates. He was transported to a shed owned by Darshan's uncle in Kamakshi Palya.

He was brutally assaulted for hours before he died. His body was thrown into a drainage in Sumanahalli.

Alternatively, there's a version of events indicating that Pavithra Gowda sought to protect Darshan, aware of his volatile nature. Reportedly, she delegated the task of handling the situation to Pawan, hoping for a quiet resolution. However, it's alleged that Pawan betrayed her trust by divulging the details to the actor.

Nonetheless, Pavithra Gowda has been booked as the accused number 1 in the murder case and Darshan in number 2. A total of 17 people have been arrested in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, producer Umapathy Gowda has made shocking claims of Sandalwood superstar like Sudeep and Puneeth Rajkumar facing the brunt of actor Darshan, who has been arrested in Renuka Swamy's murder case. "Only handful of people have spoken against Darshan. Many including Sudeep and Puneeth Rajkumar remained silent despite facing the brunt," he is quoted as saying in an interview.
