Thalapathy Vijay Has A Great Edge In Tamil Nadu Politics: Telugu Actor Deverakonda
Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda has shared positive words about the political entry of Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay, founder of 'Tamilaga Vetri Kazham' (TVK).
In an interview, Deverakonda hailed Vijay's oratory skill and stated that he is willing to see what the Tamil actor will do in politics.

"I have seen some of his audio launch speeches. He is a very good orator and I think that is the first quality for a leader. You need to communicate and understand what people need and you need to communicate your vision. The best leaders in the world are the greatest orators. I think that way he has a great edge and I'm looking forward to what he brings to the table," the 'Geetha Govindam' actor stated.
The Tamil actor Vijay in February formally announced his entry into politics. He has floated a new party called TVK.
The party is not taking part in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, but Vijay has set his eyes on the 2026 Tamil Nadu state elections. In a statement, he said, "We are not going to contest 2024 elections and we are not going to any party. We have made this decision on General and Executive Council Meeting."
Since then, Vijay has been sharing his views about the current political developments. Notably, he has spoken about the CAA (Citizen Amendment Act).
In a statement, Vijay said, "It is not acceptable to implement any law like the Indian Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) in an environment where all citizens of the country live with social harmony," the actor said in a statement. He also requested the DMK government in Tamil Nadu not to implement in the state. "The leaders should ensure that this law does not get implemented in Tamil Nadu,"
On the other hand, Deverakonda is busy with a few projects including 'Family Star'.
