Sunny Deol Dismisses 'Drunk' Video Rumors, Reveals It's A Film Scene

Following the circulation of a viral video showing Sunny Deol seemingly wandering intoxicated on the streets at night, the actor dispelled rumors on Wednesday, clarifying that it was part of the filming for his upcoming movie, ''Safar''.

Certain users on microblogging site X had criticized the actor, also a BJP MP, for the purported public misconduct.

Later that day, Deol, aged 66, shared the same video from a different angle, revealing a set of cameras within the frame.

''The journey of rumors ends here #Shooting #BTS,'' Deol captioned the 17-second clip on X.

Vishal Rana from Echelon Productions, the production house behind ''Safar'', also addressed the viral video, asserting, ''It was a scene from our upcoming film 'Safar' where Sunny Paaji was filming a night sequence. We urge all fans not to circulate false information about this video spreading across the internet,'' Rana stated.

Deol was last seen in ''Gadar 2'', one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2023.
