After Salman Khan, Threat To Shah Rukh Khan; One Arrested

Bollywood is facing a real hard time concerning security and death threats these days. First shooting outside Salman Khan's house happened, then Baba Siddique was killed and now Shah Rukh Khan got a death threat.

In relation to a threat case against Shah Rukh Khan, Chhattisgarh Police on Tuesday arrested a person identified as Mohammad Faizan Khan. According to reports, the accused is a lawyer who threatened Badshah of Bollywood and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh.

Police had registered a case and after weeks of investigation they detained

The death threat to Shah Rukh Khan, aka 'King Khan', was reportedly given in October, after which, Mumbai Police increased the popular actor's security to Y+ level, meaning he now has six armed guards with him at all times.

On the other side, Mohammad Faizan Khan claimed that his mobile phone was stolen and used to make the threatening call last week.

He said he filed a police report about the theft on November 2. Despite this claim, he was still arrested due to his failure to appear before authorities.

Threats to Bollywood Stars

A few months ago, actor Salman Khan received threats, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This incident came shortly after Salman Khan received a threat from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Bishnoi demanded that Salman apologise at a temple for killing a blackbuck or pay Rs 5 crore. The blackbuck is an endangered deer considered sacred by the Bishnoi community.

Notably, politician and a close friend to many Bollywood stars Baba Siddique was shot dead. His death scared everyone and raised concerns for the security of public figures.
