Pushpa 2: The Rule Breaks Advance Booking Records Ahead Of December 5 Release
The wait is nearly over for fans of Allu Arjun and Sukumar as "Pushpa 2: The Rule" gears up to hit theaters worldwide on December 5, 2024. Following the phenomenal success of its predecessor, "Pushpa: The Rise," which released in 2021, excitement is at an all-time high.
Advance bookings for the movie have shattered records, underscoring the immense anticipation surrounding its release on December 5. Fans are eagerly counting down the days, and the overwhelming demand for tickets reflects just how highly awaited the film is.

According to sacnilk.com, Pushpa 2 has already broken advance booking records, with the Telugu version alone earning Rs 10.28 crore. The Hindi version has contributed Rs 7.45 crore, and the Malayalam version has added Rs 46.69 lakh for 2D screenings.
In addition, IMAX 2D and 3D formats have seen strong sales, boosting the overall numbers.
The highest ticket sales come from Telangana, with Rs 6.76 crore, increasing to Rs 9.38 crore when blocked seats are included. Karnataka follows with Rs 3.15 crore (Rs 4.79 crore with blocked seats), and Maharashtra ranks third with Rs 2.64 crore (Rs 3.57 crore with blocked seats).
The TFI Biggies Pre-Sales on BookMyShow, which opened three days before the release, have seen impressive figures for some of the most anticipated films in the Indian film industry. Leading the pack is Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has already amassed 634k pre-sales. Following closely is Kalki 2898AD with 330k, while Salaar has garnered 199k. Devara stands at 142k, and Guntur Kaaram is at 16k, highlighting the varied levels of anticipation across these major releases. These numbers reflect the growing enthusiasm for these films ahead of their debuts, with Pushpa 2 leading as the clear frontrunner.
So far, Pushpa 2 has sold an estimated 6.59 lakh tickets for 16,006 shows across India, totaling Rs 21.49 crore in ticket sales. When blocked seats are factored in, the total advance booking amount soars to Rs 30.88 crore.
On the global front, the movie is making waves, with the USA contributing to an estimated overseas collection of Rs 70 crore. Early projections suggest that Pushpa 2 could gross Rs 303 crore on its opening day, with Rs 233 crore coming from the domestic market alone.
