Prince and Family OTT Release: Is It Streaming Online On SonyLIV, Zee5 or Manorama Max? Find Out
After a warm reception at the box office and plenty of laughs in theatres, Prince and Family is now all set to knock on your living room screens. This rural comedy-drama, headlined by Dileep, had fans chuckling with its heart-in-the-right-place storytelling and slice-of-life moments.
Prince and Family Story
The film, directed by Binto Stephen, follows the life of Prince - a soft-spoken, introverted bridal boutique owner who's treated like the town's most eligible bachelor. Life takes an unexpected turn when he marries Chinchu Rani (played by Raniya Raanaa), a loud, outspoken, and spirited woman who is nothing like him. What follows is a delightful rollercoaster of emotions, misunderstandings, and feel-good humour as opposites hilariously try to make their marriage work.

Set in the lush landscapes of rural Kerala, Prince and Family shines not just for its comedy, but also for its commentary on family dynamics, personality clashes, and, of course, the ever-lurking influence of social media. With strong performances from a supporting cast that includes Dhyan Sreenivasan, Siddique, Bindu Panicker, Manju Pillai, Johny Antony, and Josekutty Jacob, the film found love among both Dileep fans and family audiences.
Prince and Family OTT Release
And now, the movie is ready for its second innings - this time on OTT. While it's not landing on the usual suspects like SonyLIV or Manorama Max, it's making its digital debut on Zee5.
The platform officially announced that Prince and Family will stream from June 20. Dileep shared the news on Instagram with the poster and a cheerful caption calling it the "first family hit of 2025." The film, penned by Sharis Mohammed and produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames banner, holds added weight as it marks Dileep's 150th film - a milestone in his three-decade-long career.
In a recent chat, Dileep acknowledged the audience's support, saying the response gave him confidence that viewers still love watching his movies on the big screen. "When veteran actors get good characters in good films, those movies will work," he said, adding that Prince and Family's theme about the impact of social media struck a chord with many.
So if you missed the fun in theatres, now's your chance to catch Prince and Family from the comfort of home - with your own family by your side.
