OG Box Office collection Day 3: Pawan Kalyan's Film Earns ₹122 Crore With Strong Audience Engagement

Pawan Kalyan's latest film, "They Call Him OG," continues to perform well at the box office. Despite a noticeable drop in collections after its initial days, the movie remains largely stable. On its third day, the film earned ₹18.50 crore net in India, slightly less than the previous day's ₹18.75 crore. The total earnings for the film now stand at ₹122 crore net in India.

The Telugu version of "They Call Him OG" showed strong audience engagement on Saturday with an overall occupancy of 42.08%. Morning shows had a 30.69% turnout, which increased to 47.34% in the afternoon and reached 48.20% by evening. Meanwhile, the Tamil version saw a lower overall occupancy of 15.57%, with morning shows at 13.31%, rising to 18.83% in the afternoon before dipping to 14.58% in the evening.

Box Office Performance Across Languages

The Hindi version of "OG" experienced even lower attendance on its third day, with an overall occupancy of just 8.07%. Morning screenings started at 6.23%, improved slightly to 9.09% by afternoon, and settled at 8.88% for evening shows. Information about night show occupancies across all versions is yet to be released.

"They Call Him OG" is a Telugu action crime drama written and directed by Sujeeth and produced by D.V.V Danayya. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as OG, a retired gangster returning to Bombay in 1993 after ten years to confront his old adversary, crime-lord Omi Bhau.

The movie also features Emraan Hashmi making his Telugu debut alongside Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. Released globally on September 25, 2025, it received mixed reviews from critics.

Initially, "OG" had an impressive start with ₹21 crore from Wednesday premieres driven by its Telugu version alone. Thursday saw collections rise significantly to ₹63.75 crore with Telugu contributing ₹63 crore while Tamil added ₹0.22 crore; Hindi contributed ₹0.5 crore; Kannada brought in ₹0.03 crore.

Initial Box Office Success

However, Friday witnessed a sharp decline of 70.59% as earnings dropped to ₹18.75 crore (Telugu ₹18.15 crore; Tamil ₹0.15 crore; Hindi ₹0.4 crore; Kannada ₹0.05 crore). Early estimates for Saturday indicate that the film managed to hold relatively steady following this decline.

The film's performance highlights its strong appeal among audiences despite fluctuations in daily earnings across different language versions.
