Not Remuneration Or Pradeep's Issue! 'Kalki', 'Thug Life' Forced Kamal Haasan Opt Out Of 'Bigg Boss Tamil 8'

In a surprising development, Kamal Haasan announced two days ago that he will not be hosting the upcoming 'Bigg Boss Tamil 8'. This news took many by surprise, especially since the next edition is expected to air within the next 45 days.

Kamal cited his busy schedule as the reason for stepping down, but his sudden announcement has led to much speculation. On social media, some suggested that a remuneration dispute might have prompted the actor to end his association with the TV channel. Others speculated that differences over Pradeep's red card eviction issue could have played a role in the decision.

Not Remuneration Or Pradeep s Issue Kalki Thug Life Forced Kamal Haasan Opt Out Of Bigg Boss Tamil 8

Amid the buzz, a report confirms that Kamal has opted out of the hit Tamil reality show due to his packed schedule. According to a daily, his commitments to Prabhas' upcoming sequel to 'Kalki 2898 AD' and Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life' are the primary reasons for his departure from 'Bigg Boss Tamil'.

A source told DC: "Kamal impressed as the ruthless Supreme Yaskin in 'Kalki,' and his new avatar received a good response. Despite having a special appearance, he still hogged the limelight."

Director Nag Ashwin is keen on starting the sequel and has asked Kamal for 30-40 days to film his portions. Although Kamal had a small role in the first installment, he has a key role in the second part of the multilingual movie.

Additionally, Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life' is keeping Kamal busy, and he will soon travel to the US to master 'Artificial Intelligence' in a special course. "He has to be in the USA for over 90 days to keenly study AI and understand its multiple uses before sparing dates and time for other commitments. Besides, he has to wrap up almost 50% of the shooting of 'Thug Life' since he reunited with ace director Mani Ratnam after more than three decades, and expectations are already high," the source told the daily.

Kamal Haasan has returned to form with Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram,' although his recent 'Indian 2' did not perform well at the box office.
