'Kalki 2898 AD': What Are The Ticket Prices For Prabhas-Starrer In Andhra & Telangana?
As excitement builds for Prabhas' mega-budget movie 'Kalki 2898 AD,' the newly-elected Chandra Babu Naidu government has granted permission to increase ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh.
The government has approved a two-week period for higher ticket prices, with single-screen rates rising by Rs. 75 and multiplexes by Rs. 125. Additionally, the government has allowed for five shows to be screened per day for up to 14 days after the release, instead of the usual four. This decision is expected to boost the film's revenue, which is one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

"After careful examination of the request of Sri C. Aswini Dutt, Producer, Vyjayanthi Movies, hereby accord permission to the management of all theatres in the state of Andhra Pradesh to enhance the ticket rate by Rs. 75 for single-screen theatres and Rs. 125 for multiplexes per ticket over and above the admission rates mentioned in GO.Ms.No.13 Home (Gen.A) Department, dated: 07.03.2022 for all classes with permission for five shows, for a period of 14 days," the order stated.
Consequently, in municipal corporation cities, ticket prices may rise up to Rs. 375 in multiplexes and up to Rs. 175 in single screens.
The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, features eminent personalities from Bollywood and Tollywood, including Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and others.
In Telangana, a similar trend is observed, though for only eight days, with single-screen and multiplex rates increasing by Rs. 75 and Rs. 100, respectively.
Meanwhile, the advance booking of the multilingual movie, set to be released on June 27, has met with a stupendous response.
