Joker: Folie à Deux, directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix alongside Lady Gaga, made its debut in Indian cinemas on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, just two days before its global release on October 4.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹5 crore at the Indian box office on its opening day.

However, the film may see a slight decline in earnings on Thursday due to mixed reviews and the return to the workweek.
