It's A Boy! Yami Gautam & Aditya Dhar Announce Son's Birth & Baby Name

Actor Yami Gautam and her filmmaker-husband Aditya Dhar have been blessed with a baby boy.

The couple has announced the happy news on their Instagram account. They have also revealed that they have named the newborn - Vedavid. It means "someone who is well versed with the Vedas".

The Instagram note read, "We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible (sic)."

It continued, "As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation (sic)."

Several Bollywood celebrities, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Mrunal Thakur and Neha Dhupia congratulated the couple in the comment section.

After being in a relationship for two years, the couple had tied the knot in June 2021. The news of her pregnancy was announced the during the trailer launch of their last film 'Article 370.'

It has to be noted that 'Article 370' has garnered a lot of positive reviews.

Meanwhile, congratulatory messages are pouring in for the celebrities. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh wrote, "Bahut bahut bahut sara pyaar ! 😍❤️🙏🏽🧿 God bless."
