'I Walked Out': Ram Charan's Make Up Artist Over Shah Rukh's 'Disrespectful' Comments
A controversy broke out after a video went viral where Shah Rukh Khan is heard calling 'Bhend idly vada Ram Charan'. The incident occurred at the recently concluded pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
In the viral video, King Khan is heard saying: "Bhend idly vada Ram Charan kahan hain tu". The Telugu actor then joined Shah Rukh along with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan on stage and performed to Ram Charan and Jr Ntr's RRR song 'Naatu Naatu'.

The controversy erupted when Zeba Hassan, the makeup artist for Ram Charan and his wife Upasana, shared a video alleging that SRK was disrespectful towards the Telugu actor, addressing him as 'idli vada'. In her comment on the post, she expressed her admiration for SRK but disapproved of his behavior towards Ram Charan during the event. Subsequently, she mentioned leaving the event soon after.
She said, "I'm a huge SRK fan, but I really disliked the way he called Ram Charan on stage." her comment on the post read. She added that soon after, she walked out of the event.
Her post now deleted read: "It's funny how everyone wants to pay us 'lesser' because we're from south India whereas they're okay to pay triple the amount for the same thing to an artist if that artist is Delhi or Mumbai-based."
Criticising SRK's comments, a user said, "Shah Rukh Khan calls Ram Charan "Idli". Can i Call Shah Rukh Khan "Pani Puri"!"
Another user said, "Shah rukh khan is disgusting for referring to ram charan as 'idli vada'. he wants south indian women as heroines but throws around racial slurs against the men?"

The third user commented: "Why SRK. Why utter gibberish followed by idli vada while addressing a colleague a fellow actor from the Telugu full industry whose pan india movie won an Oscar last year. Any person from south india doesnt equate to gibberish idli vada whatever. (facepalm) As if chennai express wasnt enough."
Meanwhile, a source close to Charan is expected to issue a statement asking fans to calm down.
"He knows Shah Rukh Khan didn't mean any offense. He was just fooling around. But he crossed the limit and he should apologise. Ram Charan is likely to come out with a statement very shortly requesting his fans to let it go. Aisa hota hai. We South Indians have always been ridiculed in Hindi films. But one would expect more sensible conduct from a man of Khan's stature," Times Now quoted a source close to Ram Charan as saying.
