Good Bad Ugly Movie Review: Ajith Kumar's latest movie Good Bad Ugly has opened to fairly positive reviews from the overseas audience. The movie is high on mass elements and Thala's performance has been appreciated by viewers.

Ajith has teamed up with Adhik Ravichandran who is known for films like Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Mark Antony.

The movie has Trisha Krishnan, who had paired up with Ajith in movies like Mankatha, Kireedam, Ji, Yennai Arindhaal and more recently Vidaamuyarchi, is playing the female lead in the movie. Good Bad Ugly is an out-and-out mass entertainer designed as a tribute to Ajith's star power. The film starts off strong with a gripping first half filled with high-energy action sequences and nostalgic references that will delight Ajith fans. The pre-interval and interval blocks are particularly well-crafted, keeping the audience engaged.

However, the second half, despite a promising start with a flashback sequence, loses momentum. The storyline lacks depth and emotional weight, making it reliant on high-voltage action and build-up sequences. While some mass moments work well, others feel stretched and repetitive. The film could have benefited from tighter editing, especially towards the climax.

GV Prakash Kumar's background score complements the film's tone but falls short of maximizing the impact in crucial scenes. The cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam is visually appealing, and the production values are commendable, as per the viewers who watched movie in international centres.

Movies Singapore: #AjithKumar appears in one of his most stylish avatars ever 🔥🔥🔥🔥 utmost charisma, aura,mannerisms. His dialogue delivery brings back the fun #AK vibes - those iconic walks and swag truly STUNS.

The entire movie is packed with fan references, fan-fiction elements, and #AK nostalgia, presented with colourful visuals, elevatuon, goosebumps mass moments, great grandeur action, retro songs, and overall fun. All this is set within a simple gangster storyline, yet the film carries its own creative spark. #GVPrakash delivers good, elevating music that enhances the experience.

#ArjunDas gives a solid performance within the scope of his villains role, although his character feels more like a villain caught among a massive hero. #Prasanna, #Sunil, #RedinKingsley, #Simran, #PriyaPrakashVarrier, and others perform well within their given screen space.

However, the father/son emotions fails to work which is what ultimately makes this just a mass film. #Trisha and "Salaar" Karthikeyan unfortunately deliver underwhelming performances, dragging down key sequences. At times, the overall acting of cast except "AK" is executed in a cartoonish ways, giving the film a high-budget stage drama feel.

The fan-service, while enjoyable, also results in some over-the-top moments that don't quite land as intended. The team has tried their best to give a film within their short time which is what made some aspects not reach its full potential.

That said, #GBU is an all-out celebratory film for #Ajith sir fans, who will definitely enjoy the countless epic moments it offers. Even general audiences who liked the vibe of #MarkAntony are likely to enjoy this one.

Venky Review: #GoodBadUgly is an Alright Out and Out Mass Entertainer that works in parts and is a pure fan service to Ajith.

After a Solid 1st half, the second half starts well with a flashback episode but has nothing much to offer after that and feels dragged till the end. A few mass blocks have come out very well and it is nice seeing Ajith back in a vintage way.

However, the film does not have much of a story or emotional connect and banks on many typical build up elevations and action blocks which get tiring after a point. BGM is apt but definitely had a scope to be better and elevate more scenes. Production Values are good.

May not fully meet expectations but is definitely a better movie from Ajith in recent times and can give it a try for some enjoyable mass moments and to see a vintage mass Ajith.

First half is a pure fan service to Ajith and filled with many references. Not much of a story so far and some back to back action blocks feel prolonged. However, few mass/elevation blocks have come out well especially the pre-interval to interval block. So far it is does not bore and is fairly engaging.
