Cannes Film Festival, the biggest cinema event, recognized globally, is finally starting from May 12 and has created a lot of talk as many famous filmmakers, producers, actors and producers have landed in France. The 79th Cannes film festival is ready to alter French Riveria into the biggest hub of cinema for 10 days starting from May 12 to May 23.

The 79th Cannes festival will navigate that even in the age of AI, how human driven and creative storytelling is still in use. The event is supposed to start with Red Carpet and along with the Premiere of major auteur driven success, 'The Electric Kiss'.

22 films are supposed to Premiere in the span of 10 days which include Bitter Christmas, Parallel Stories, Fatherland, Sheep in the Box, All of a Sudden, Hope, and The Man I Love.

President of this year's Jury:

This year, the festival is led by a visionary South Korean filmmaker who won 'The best director' in 75th Cannes Film Festival. Park Chan-Wook is a central figure and is best known for various masterpieces including 'Oldboy' and 'Handmaiden.'

The festival will be taking place in Palais des Festivals et des Congrès along La Croisette, French Riveria and will be starting from 8:30AM, local time.

Along with South Korean Filmmaker, Park Chan- Wook, other jury members in the panel are Demi Moore, Chloé Zhao, Stellan Skarsgård, Ruth Negga, Laura Wandel, Diego Céspedes, Isaach De Bankolé, and Paul Laverty.

Guest list:

Many famous personalities, filmmakers are expected to attend the festival. Barbra
Streisand, Peter Jackson, John Travolta, Scarlett Johansson, Rami Malek, and Demi
Moore are the key attendees according to festival reports and several media
coverage.

Both Barbra Streisand and Peter Jackson are receiving honorary Palme
d'Or recognitions this year for being the cinematic legends and icons of modern
filmmaking. Barbara has given over 6 decades to the film industry and Peter nearly
40 years.

Indian presence is also widely recognized after high time success of the independent
cinema industry. Dust and Gold, directed by Chaitanya Tamhane, for midnight

Famous names in the red carpet includes Alia Bhatt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tara
Sutaria, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Jacqueline Fernandez,
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan however Aishwarya's picture was missing from initial
