Bollywood Star Taapsee Pannu To Support Hubby Mathias Boe And Indian Badminton Stars At 2024 Paris Olympics

Bollywood female actor Taapsee Pannu, who married Danish Olympic silver medallist Mathias Boe in March this year, is gearing up to be his support at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Taapsee will be cheering for her husband, who is the coach of Indian badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty.

Rankireddy and Shetty, bronze medallists at the World Championships, will represent India in the men's doubles category at the Paris Olympics. Currently ranked third in the world, they have been seeded and drawn to compete against the Indonesian duo of Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee revealed her excitement, saying, "I don't think I can go there in the capacity of an athlete. I first met Mathias when he had already returned from the Olympics after winning his medal in 2012. I did not attend his next Olympics as an athlete because I find it very stressful to watch him compete."

She continued, "Now that he is coaching our national team, and with Satwik and Chirag being strong contenders for an Olympic medal, I feel more motivated and thrilled to attend this time and support them. Plus, it coincides with my birthday on August 1, which adds to the excitement."

On the acting front, Taapsee is equally enthusiastic about her upcoming projects. She is set to captivate audiences with her roles in 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba' and 'Khel Khel Mein'.

Expressing her joy, Taapsee stated, "It has been an overwhelming start to both films, with such a warm reception to the trailer of 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba' and the first song release of 'Khel Khel Mein'. These films are diverse not only in genre but also in the characters I portray. It's a coincidence that they are both releasing around my birthday, so I'm hoping they will be a grand entertainment package for my audience in August. I'm praying for their love and support."

Taapsee's dual focus on supporting her husband and her own professional projects makes this a particularly exciting time for the actress.
