Bigg Boss Tamil 8 Elimination: Not Varshini Or Manjiri, This Contestant Evicted From Sethupathi's Show

As Bigg Boss Tamil 8, hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, heads into its sixth week of elimination, anticipation is high among viewers. Thirteen contestants were in the danger zone, and the competition has intensified as voting results revealed clear favourites and potential eviction.

Leading the pack this week, Soundarya secured her place with an impressive 91,664 votes, representing 19.79% of the total. Her strong fanbase solidifies her status as the most likely contestant to continue in the show. Close behind, Raanav garnered 71,735 votes (15.49%), and Jeffery claimed 58,514 votes (12.63%), both ensuring their safety for another week.

Deepak, who received 46,211 votes (9.98%), benefits from a nomination pass, guaranteeing his place in the house despite lower votes compared to the top contenders.

In the middle tier, Jacquline received 44,912 votes (9.7%), followed by Ranjith with 33,884 votes (7.31%). Other contestants in this group include Sathya with 28,067 votes (6.06%) and Tharshika, who secured 25,771 votes (5.56%). While these contestants enjoy moderate viewer support, their positions are still relatively secure.

Sachana, who obtained 14,286 votes (3.08%), remains in a precarious position, though she maintains an edge over the wildcard entrants.

The four wildcard contestants, Shivakumar (12,948 votes, 2.8%), Varshini (12,151 votes, 2.62%), Manjiri (11,993 votes, 2.59%), and Riya (11,090 votes, 2.39%), faced the greatest risk, occupying the bottom slots.

Riya has been eliminated from Bigg Boss Tamil 8. The model and influencer gained prominence as the third-place finalist in the 2023 Miss Chennai beauty pageant. She has also reviewed episodes of Bigg Boss Tamil and runs her own YouTube channel.

Riya appeared in Patrick John's Tamil music video "Adi Kaanal Neerey" in 2023, and participated in the Tamil Nadu Fashion Pageant Association Miss Chennai contest, where she was crowned 2nd runner-up. Her association with the digital creator firm Finally Pictures led to roles in popular videos such as My Boys and Me and Boys Periods. Additionally, Riya featured in an ad shoot for Eruma Saani.

In 2024, she acted in the Tamil web series High on Kadhal, which streamed on Aha Tamil. Known for her disciplined fitness regimen, Riya is a teetotaler and maintains close friendships within the modeling community, including with social media star Aurora Sinclair.
