Baby John Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction: Varun Dhawan's much-awaited action drama Baby John has not been able to make a significant impact in its advance bookings, as it gears up for its release this Christmas.

Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, the film features Varun in the role of a fierce father, with supporting performances from Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff. Despite the excitement around the movie, the response so far has been underwhelming.

As of now, only 44,782 tickets have been sold for the film, generating a total of ₹2.05 crore in advance bookings, including blocked seats. Industry data from Sacnilk reveals that Baby John has earned ₹1.32 crore gross from its advance bookings alone. The film will be screened in 6,150 shows, with Gujarat leading the charge with 1,256 shows, followed by Maharashtra with 1,148 shows and Delhi with 833 shows.

In terms of regional performance, Delhi has grossed approximately ₹33.11 lakh, while Mumbai has managed ₹24.33 lakh in advance sales. Although the film's initial bookings aren't impressive, it's still early in the game, and box office collections could pick up as more viewers rush to theatres in the coming days.

Varun Dhawan recently spoke about the challenges of releasing a film in today's competitive market, acknowledging the importance of strong production backing. He expressed his gratitude for securing the coveted Christmas release date, a slot historically associated with Aamir Khan's films. "We had to really fight and struggle to get this date," Varun remarked.

Baby John also features a special cameo by Salman Khan, appearing in a five-minute sequence, which is expected to attract more viewers. Additionally, the song Nain Mattakka will feature singer Diljit Dosanjh, adding another layer of star power to the film.

Looking ahead, Varun Dhawan is already lined up for more exciting projects, including Border 2, and a romantic film alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Fans are eagerly awaiting the full release of Baby John and hoping for a surge in box office numbers in the coming days.
