Are Poonam Pandey-Sam Bombay Divorced? Here's What The Director Says
Sam Bombay, the husband of actress-model Poonam Pandey, has expressed his happiness to hear that his wife is "alive" while clarifying that they have not divorced.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sam Bombay said that he is delighted that she "faked her death". He stated, "She is alive. That's enough for me. Alhamdullilah."

They had died the knot in 2020 when the world was gripped by COVID-19. To everyone's shock, she lodged a complaint against her hubby, two months after her marriage for allegedly assaulting her. He was then arrested by the cops in Goa.
Sam claimed, "When I heard the news, I felt nothing in my heart. There was no sense of loss. And I thought this can't be. Why do I feel nothing? Because when you're connected, you feel everything. I think about her (Poonam Pandey) every day. And, I pray for her every day. If something was wrong, I'd know."
He also clarified that they have not parted ways. "No, we are not divorced, yet."
On Friday, a social media post on her account claimed that she had died of cervical cancer. The message read: "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we could request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared," the announcement of her death news read on her Instagram account.
By Friday evening, there were speculations that she was alive. The next day it was revealed that she pulled off a publicity stunt.
In a video, posted on her official Instagram page, Pandey said, "I feel compelled to share something significant with you all - I am here, alive." "Cervical cancer didn't claim me, but tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease," the 32-year-old added.
Pandey said that she wanted to spread awareness about the disease. "Unlike some other cancers, Cervical cancer is entirely preventable. The key lies in the HPV vaccine and early detection tests. We have the means to ensure no one loses their life to this disease...
"Let's empower one another with critical awareness and ensure every woman is informed about the steps to take. Together, let's strive to put an end to the devastating impact of the disease and bring #DeathToCervicalCancer," she wrote.
