Amidst All This Negativity, My Show Quietly Hit 100k: Karthik Takes Dig At Ex-Wife Suchitra

Standup comedian Karthik Kumar has taken dig at his ex-wife Suchitra who has claimed that her former husband is gay.

In a post on Instagram, he has mentioned about his show getting 1 lakh views amid the controversy. "Amidst all this negativity and chaos, my show quietly hit a 100k. The standup comedy show about gender equality/patriarchy and toxic relationships is finding its tribe," he said.

In another video posted on his social media account, the standup comedian claimed that he would not be ashamed of being homosexual.

"If I was homosexual I would not be ashamed of being homosexual. I will be very proud to be any kind of sexual on the gigantically glorious specturm of sexuality exists out there. I would pride join pride rally in my city which I anyway will . All kind of sexualities join the rally and show them your support. There is no shame anymore.

In a recent interview, Suchitra called her former husband Karthik "a gay" and expressed sorry for his current wife Amrutha Srinivasan.

More importantly, Suchitra targeted Dhanush and his former wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth and accused them of cheating on each other. She also called Aishwarya a "bad mother" and Dhanish a "better father".

The singer also attacked Trisha, singer Chinmayi and a few other celebrities for destroying her career.

She continued, "The entire 'Suchi leaks' incident unfolded during a gathering where they all sat together. Trisha said, 'I hope Suchi gets punished and let's all watch...'-but that fate is going to befall you. And Chinmayi added, 'As she sows, so shall she reap...'-that fate will befall you. You played a prank, and claim to be victims. Then you have the audacity to assert that you're good people, hence won't file an FIR against me."
