Amid Snub From Bachchan's On Her Birthday, Amitabh's Old Tweets Wishing Aishwarya Surfaces

On November 1, Aishwarya Rai's fans were quick to notice that neither Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, nor Shweta Bachchan publicly wished the Bollywood diva on her birthday.

The stoic silence from her husband and in-laws stirred up quite a buzz online, leaving many fans puzzled - and some even annoyed - by the lack of any acknowledgment of Aishwarya's special day.

In response, fans on Reddit combed through old posts, unearthing previous tweets from Amitabh Bachchan, which highlight how different things once were.

In earlier years, Aishwarya Rai's father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, not only thanked fans for their warm wishes to the "Bachchan Bahu" but also shared glimpses of the family's celebrations.

A tweet from 2010 read, "T172 - First things first... thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday!! Have passed it on to her.. she thanks all ... love."

In another post, Amitabh Bachchan shared, "T171 - ... family dinner at Chinese in Taj where function was held... and brought in Aishwarya Birthday... good feel about the day.."

The Bachchan family has left fans speculating about the divorce rumours surrounding Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

Married for 17 years and parents to their daughter, Aaradhya, the couple has faced rumours for several months now.

The gossip began to intensify when Aishwarya attended the Ambani wedding alone with Aaradhya, without the family. Abhishek also recently liked a post about divorce, further fuelling the speculation.

The love story between Abhishek and Aishwarya started as friends while working on films like 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke' (2000) and 'Kuch Naa Kaho' (2003), with romance blooming during the filming of 'Umrao Jaan' in 2005-2006.

The couple married on April 20, 2007, in a grand ceremony. Before this, Aishwarya had been in the spotlight for her past relationships with Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi. The couple later welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011.
