Actresses Are Secretly Filmed Changing Dress In Vanity Vans: Radikaa Drops Bomb Shell

Amid uproar over the sexual misconduct allegations against many biggies in Malayalam film industry, veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar has made big allegations that there are secret cameras in vanity rooms to record actress' changing dresses on the movie sets.

Speaking to Asianet News' Namaste Kerala, Radikaa said, "While I was on a set in Kerala, I saw people gathered together and laughing at something. As I passed by, I noticed they were watching a video. I called a crew member and asked him what they were watching.

I was told there were cameras in the vanity vans and footage of women changing clothes was captured using the same. I was told you just type the name of the artiste, and you will find a video of them changing dress. I saw the video,"

The actress declined to disclose the location of the incident, stating, "If we spit upwards, it will only fall back on us. So, I don't want to name anyone."

Radhikaa added that she was extremely upset by the incident and felt uneasy about returning to her vanity room. "This system is flawed. After the incident, I informed other female artists about the hidden cameras. I was fearful of entering my vanity van afterward. It's a private space where we change, rest, or eat," she explained.

She confronted the crew about the hidden cameras and issued a warning, after which they assured her that they would "look into it."

For context, in recent days, several actresses from the Malayalam film industry have come forward to share their harrowing experiences of sexual harassment. Complaints have been filed against prominent figures including CPI(M) MLA and actor Mukesh, actor Jayasurya, and Edavela Babu for sexual and verbal assault.
