Tamil Nadu Rail Alert: Full List of Southern Railway Cancellations, Diversions, Rescheduled Services

Southern Railway has announced several changes to train services in the Tiruchchirappalli Division due to engineering and track maintenance work. These adjustments include full cancellations, partial cancellations, changes in origins, diversions, and rescheduling of train services. Passengers are advised to check the updated schedules and plan their journeys accordingly.

Full Cancellation of Train Services:

• Train No. 16116 Puducherry - Chennai Egmore Express: Leaving Puducherry at 05.35 hrs on 23rd, 27th September & 2nd October 2024.
• Train No. 06874 Thanjavur - Mayiladuturai Passenger: Leaving Thanjavur Jn at 12.30 hrs on 10th, 12th, 14th, 17th, 19th September 2024.
• Train No. 06738 Puducherry - Villupuram MEMU: Leaving Puducherry at 08.05 hrs on 27th September & 2nd October 2024.
• Train No. 06737 Villupuram - Puducherry MEMU: Leaving Villupuram at 05.25 hrs on 27th September & 2nd October 2024.
• Train No. 06688 Thiruvarur - Mayiladuturai MEMU: Leaving Thiruvarur Jn at 08.15 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th September 2024.
• Train No. 06404 Mannargudi - Mayiladuturai Passenger: Leaving Mannargudi at 08.35 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th September 2024.
• Train No. 06403 Mayiladuturai - Mannargudi Passenger: Leaving Mayiladuturai Jn at 17.55 hrs on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th September 2024.

Partial Cancellation of Train Services:

• Train No. 17655 Kakinada Port - Puducherry Express: Leaving Kakinada Port at 14.30 hrs on 26th September 2024. Short-terminated at Chengalpattu; partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Puducherry.
• Train No. 11005 Dadar - Puducherry Express: Leaving Dadar at 21.30 hrs on 1st October 2024. Short-terminated at Tiruvannamalai; partially cancelled between Tiruvannamalai and Puducherry.
• Train No. 06880 Tiruchchirappalli - Karaikal DEMU: Leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 08.35 hrs on various dates in September 2024. Short-terminated at Thiruvarur; partially cancelled between Thiruvarur and Karaikal.
• Train No. 06490 Tiruchchirappalli - Karaikal DEMU: Leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 06.50 hrs on various dates in September 2024. Short-terminated at Thiruvarur; partially cancelled between Thiruvarur and Karaikal.
• Train No. 06892 Tiruchchirappalli - Villupuram MEMU: Leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 18.00 hrs on 22nd, 24th September & 3rd October 2024. Short-terminated at Vriddhachalam; partially cancelled between Vriddhachalam and Villupuram.
• Train No. 06646 Tiruchchirappalli - Mayiladuturai Passenger: Leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 06.05 hrs on 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th September 2024. Short-terminated at Kuttalam; partially cancelled between Kuttalam and Mayiladuturai.
• Train No. 06880 Tiruchchirappalli - Karaikal DEMU: Leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 08.35 hrs on 10th, 12th, 14th, 17th & 19th September 2024. Short-terminated at Thanjavur; partially cancelled between Thanjavur and Karaikal.

Change in Origin of Train Services:

• Train No. 17654 Puducherry - Kakinada Port Express: Leaving Puducherry at 13.00 hrs on 27th September 2024. Partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Puducherry; will originate from Chengalpattu at 15.30 hrs.
• Train No. 06739 Karaikal - Tiruchchirappalli DEMU: Leaving Karaikal at 14.55 hrs on various dates in September 2024. Partially cancelled between Karaikal and Thiruvarur Jn; will originate from Thiruvarur at 16.15 hrs.
• Train No. 06457 Karaikal - Thanjavur DEMU: Leaving Karaikal at 13.00 hrs on various dates in September 2024. Partially cancelled between Karaikal and Thiruvarur; will originate from Thiruvarur at 14.15 hrs.
• Train No. 06891 Villupuram - Tiruchchirappalli MEMU: Leaving Villupuram at 05.10 hrs on 23rd, 25th September & 4th October 2024. Partially cancelled between Villupuram and Vriddachalam; will originate from Vriddachalam at 06.00 hrs.

Diversion of Train Services:

• Train No. 22676 Tiruchchirappalli - Chennai Egmore Chozhan Superfast Express: Scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 11.00 hrs on 10th September 2024. Diverted via Vriddhachalam, Cuddalore Port & Villupuram, skipping various stoppages. Additional stoppages at Ariyalur & Vriddhachalam.
• Train No. 16368 Banaras - Kanyakumari Kashi Tamil Express: Scheduled to leave Banaras at 16.20 hrs on 8th, 15th September 2024. Diverted via Cuddalore Port, Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur & Tiruchchirappalli, skipping various stoppages. Additional stoppages at Vriddhachalam & Ariyalur.
• Train No. 16367 Kanyakumari - Banaras Kashi Tamil Express: Scheduled to leave Kanyakumari at 20.30 hrs on 26th September 2024. Diverted via Cuddalore Port, Vriddhachalam & Villupuram.

Rescheduling of Train Services:

• Train No. 22671 Chennai Egmore - Madurai Tejas Express: Scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 06.00 hrs on 25th September & 2nd October 2024. Rescheduled to leave at 07.40 hrs (Late by 1 hour 40 mins).
• Train No. 22672 Madurai - Chennai Egmore Tejas Express: Scheduled to leave Madurai at 15.00 hrs on 25th September & 2nd October 2024. Rescheduled to leave at 16.00 hrs (Late by 1 hour).
• Train No. 22676 Tiruchchirappalli - Chennai Egmore Chozhan Superfast Express: Scheduled to leave Tiruchchirappalli at 11.00 hrs on 17th September 2024. Rescheduled to leave at 13.00 hrs (Late by 2 hours).
• Train No. 20606 Tiruchendur - Chennai Egmore Superfast Express: Scheduled to leave Tiruchendur at 20.25 hrs on 22nd, 24th, 26th September & 1st October 2024. Rescheduled to leave at 22.35 hrs (Late by 2 hours 10 mins).
