Tamil Actress Vinodhini Body Shames Annamalai Over His Comments On Kamal Haasan

Actress Vinodhini Vaidynathan has targeted Tamil Nadu BJP Chief K Annamalai by commenting about his "looks". Thus facing backlash for body shaming the politician.

Annamalai has come under attack from a section of netizens after he asked Kamal Haasan to get his "brain examined". Reacting to his remarks, Vinodhini Vaidynathan said, "Exactly why I said long back that Annamalai is incapable of making any long lasting friendships or relationships in any arena, political or personal.

Tamil Actress Body Shames Annamalai

His deep rooted narcissistic tendencies coupled with an inferiority complex born of lack of looks, talent or personality, an inferiority complex that gets even more intense in front of his betters may even lead him to have psychopathic episodes in future."

She then said that the Tamil Nadu BJP should be led by Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan. "He is like the toxic ex that we all had. The man clearly needs help and it is high time someone like Dr Tamilisai, a calm and emotionally secure personality replaces him in whatever role he is in, in the party. I say whatever role because clearly he is not fit to be state, let alone any kind of president of anything.

If anything, he is a bad precedent and I hope his superiors and cronies (also known as the war room henchmen) see this before it is too late for him. Truly an unfortunate damaged soul that needs our charity and compassion for his psychological issues more than our scorn and disdain for his stolid stupidity at this point," she added.

It all started after Kamal Haasan claimed during a campaign that the national capital would be changed to Nagpur from New Delhi if the BJP came to power again.

Responding to Kamal's remarks, Annamalai said, "Anyone making such claims should be taken to a mental hospital and get their brain examined. Whether it's Kamal Haasan or anyone else, they need to check whether both the left and right brains are functioning properly, whether they are conscious, and whether they are eating their food properly. Kamal Haasan should be taken to a good psychiatrist and get professional advice. How can India's capital be shifted to Nagpur?"

The BJP leader further stated, "If he had claimed that Chennai must be made the summer or winter capital of the country I can accept that. So Kamal Haasan suddenly realised that Nagpur has the RSS's office and hence concluded that India's capital would be shifted to Nagpur. Kamal Haasan should get his head examined. Kamal Haasan should decide if he is speaking consciously or if he wants to clamour for a Rajya Sabha ticket like this from the DMK?"

The Tamil actor, during a campaign, alleged the BJP would attempt to change the national flag from its tricolour design to a single colour. He also spoke about the BJP's alleged plan to shift the national capital to Nagpur from New Delhi, asserting that this move would undermine the nation's secular fabric.

As Vinodhini's remarks about Annamalai's looks met with a lot of criticism, she said, "Kamaraj ayya, Abdul Kalam sir, Vijayakanth avl - these were dark skinned, GOOD-LOOKING leaders.

Now please go back to fulminate on my pinned tweet. Annamalai might think your break-downs are not enough. The horror! Chalo, giddy up!"

The actress stated that she stands by her comments. "When did I justify? You think I shoot off the mouth like your uncouth leader and then retract my comment? I stand by every word I've ever said on this platform, including my pinned tweet. Now if this is going to make more people go to my pinned tweet and read it, thereby increasing its reach to another few thousands, achievement unlocked," the actress commented.
