Mother stabs 6-year-old son to death with dagger while bathing him
Chandigarh, July 2: In yet another shocking incident, a woman allegedly killed her six-year-old son with a dagger in Punjab's Bathinda district. The incident happened when the accused allegedly attacked her only son with a dagger while giving him a bath at home in Bhai Mati Dass Nagar.
On Sunday, the woman, who has been identified as Rajveer Kaur was bathing her son, when she attacked him with a dagger and inflicted fatal wounds on his chest and abdomen.

The boy suffered injuries in chest and abdomen and died on the spot.
The reason behind the attack was uncertain and the matter was being investigated, said the police.
During the interrogation, the woman stated that she didn't know why she killed her son.
Meanwhile, the accused has been arrested and a case has been registered under Indian Penal Code section 302 (murder). The cops are now trying to ascertain the reason behind the murder of the boy. He was a class 1 student of Lord Rama Public School.
