Haryana assembly elections: Hooda's son, Piyush Goyal in war of words

As per a report published in TOI, Union coal, power and renewable energy minister Piyush Goyal, who was in Panchkula, on Monday alleged that Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's son Deepender had "misrepresented facts during public debates and election rallies while referring to growth and development of the state."

Goyal was quoted as saying, "After verifying records, we found that Haryana was far behind Gujarat in industrial and agricultural growth and so is the case with other issues."
On Sunday, while addressing a rally, Rohtak MP Deepender had claimed, "We don't want to say much, but Modiji should have consulted his finance minister or gone through the records of Parliament where Arun Jaitley had praised Haryana for per capita income and GSDP. One should not make such irrelevant statements to gain political mileage."
