Lion dies in Bhopal's Van Vihar National Park
Bhopal, Aug 4: A 26-year-old lion, Anthony, died of old age on Wednesday at Bhopal's Van Vihar National Park.
A lion on an average has a life span of 15 years.

According to zoo officials, the feline was rescued on October 22, 2006 from Rajmahal Circus at Korba in Chhattisgarh when it was 16-years-old and brought to Van Vihar.
As per the post-mortem report, Anthony died of paralysis due to old age.
Van Vihar offers medical and nursing services to wildlife and also helps animals to adapt to varying climatic conditions, which helps them live for a longer period of time.
