Vipin's wife, Sreeparna Dutta, has been actively seeking help on social media and has also taken to Facebook Live to appeal for assistance.

Sreeparna has taken to X (formerly Twitter) again, highlighting the challenges in the investigation. She mentioned that the lack of CCTV coverage near Motherhood Hebbal and Bytaranyapura junction has made the police's search efforts more difficult. She urged people to share the missing report from her Facebook profile, especially in areas around Bengaluru's outskirts, such as Devanahalli, Doddaballapur, Chikkaballapur, Anantapur, Gowribidanur, Hindupur, Hosur, Whitefield, Hoskote, Kolar, the Chennai and Mumbai-Pune expressways, and Andhra Pradesh connections, asking anyone who sees anything suspicious to inform Kodigehalli Police Station.

A lookout notice had earlier been issued to other states by Kodigehalli Police Station via email. Sreeparna also went live on Facebook to appeal for help.

What we know so far:

Vipin was last seen at 12:42 PM on August 4 in the Tatanagar area of Kodigehalli, leaving his house on a green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. He was wearing a beige jacket and dark grey track pants. Sriparna noted that he left without any bags.

Initially, the police refused to register Sreeparna's complaint, delaying the investigation. The FIR was finally filed on August 6 after multiple visits to the station. As of August 8, the only progress reported was locating Vipin's CD-R.

Frustrated by the lack of action, Sreeparna reached out to higher authorities but received no response. She recounted a tense meeting with the Bengaluru North East DCP at the Amruthahalli station on August 9, where she was scolded for mentioning the lack of police action.

Inspector Sunil R has now been assigned to the case and is expected to gather CCTV footage. However, Sreeparna noted that she had already provided all the necessary information to the inspector on August 4, with no follow-up actions taken.

The couple has two daughters, aged 5 months and 14 years. "I am certain he is in danger, especially after such a large amount was withdrawn from his account following his disappearance. He loves his daughters deeply and would never abandon them," she said.

Sriparna is pleading for urgent assistance from the public and the police, stating, "Please help me, I beg you. We had plans for our younger baby's annaprasadam on August 8. My husband would not leave us."
